Gadget Soccer Club

by T.S Hidalgo

(…The coach…
wanted to see me),
No, no, the coach
didn’t want to see you,
(The coach…
didn’t want to see me),
He didn’t want to see you,
no, sir
(The coach…
didn’t want to see you),
Because he says you
don’t steal balls.
The coach didn’t want to see you,
and possibly tomorrow, Monday,
or perhaps Tuesday,
or after a few games,
or in a season,
I don’t want to see
the coach,
no, sir.
The coach
didn’t even sign you
-that wasn’t his goal, living God!-,
like on the other hand
agents,
technical secretaries
and other middlemen
have done
One size fits all
scoundrels they are:
quick growing businesses
which I support stretching out my arm.
