Be there
Being there
Meaning much
And nothing
I’ll be there.
There for you.
I’m here
Where is here?
Am I there?
Where are you?
Not with me. Not here.
So where?
Not here.
Maybe there.
But not here.
Because
Not:
Because I love you
Because you tempt me
Because you stole me
Because I promised
Because you saw
And I knew you watched
And then you lied
But
Because you comfort me
Because you hide me
And you assure me
Every day I’m asking:
Is why I stay.
