Botsotso 21: Light Up the Night

Description

This latest Botsotso journal was previously posted on the Botsotso website but is now in hard copy form with additions like book reviews and writer/poet-to-writer/poet interviews. As the only South African literary journal that combines fiction, poetry and graphics, Botsotso 21 carries a sub-title, Light Up the Night, which comments on the dire global political situation which is consumed by ‘great power’ rivalry, war and economic decline for billions. Writers reflect on every conceivable aspect of human life, but in times of crisis, it is not surprising that their work reflects a heightened awareness of these macro features. With its expansive format, the journal is a handsome edition that carries high quality writing and bold design.
